today- when going to a site- the Accept button page comes up- but when pressing Accept it goes to the Bluecoat site- tried turning it off and on and disconnecting and reconnecting from Unplugged.
Egov Wireless Laptop/Acer Aspire 7530 2009 Since EQ switched to Fiber in 2011 Getting stuck on the Bluecoat Screen, can get to www.scgov.net and it works at North Port on the 3 button (enter, continue, accept) method. (EQ switched to the one button Accept when it got fiber)
Some mini (6” screen) mini-Netbooks 6-8/2011
Kindles 8-10/2011 Can’t get to “accept” (sENT sample Mac address to IT (Deirdre's- to research)
A Brand new Asus 9/2011 Couldn’t get to accept page
Toshiba Satellite A205-S5843 10/18/2011 Tried “diagnose and repair” and turning off firewall and rebooting and typing in accept page address- only got “can’t connect” screen, Unplugged shows as connected. Tested EREF laptop, is working with Unplugged.
Resolved issue with Egov laptop: IT person, Joe S. came and found that the date setting was off by one day- he set it to the correct day and that solved the Bluecoat problem. He theorized that the wrong date was making a firewall issue.
